Educational Technologies Board
Educational Technologies Board (ETB) Mission
The Educational Technologies Board was established in 1988 to advise the campus on present and future needs and directions in computer-assisted learning. Throughout the years, we have witnessed, on the one hand, the rapid development of computer technologies, and on the other hand, the many innovative ways in which such technologies are employed in the enhancement of the learning process. In keeping with this innovation the Board will continue its chartered mission and also expand its role to not only assure and enhance the opportunities for faculty and students to gain access to the technological riches on campus, but also promote and coordinate the development of new learning technologies. The Board is to provide the Provost with recommendations on policy issues and spearhead the implementation of some of those policy recommendations through the distribution of CFAC and ETB funds.
