Swanlund Endowed Chair: Tamer Basar
Tamer Basar is Swanlund Chair and Center for Advanced Study Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, holds appointments in the Coordinated Science Laboratory and Information Trust Institute. He received his BSEE degree from Robert College, Istanbul, and his M.S., M. Phil, and Ph.D. degrees from Yale. Professor Basar is internationally renowned for his scholarly contributions to the fields of systems, controls, networks, and game theory. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of Automatica and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Expert Now and is editor of two series on Systems & Control and Dynamic Games. For his contributions he has received numerous prestigious awards and recognitions. Formal investiture of the Swanlund Chair is forthcoming.
